Michael Jackson 1958-2009
I have never and will never be a “die hard” Michael Jackson fan, but I was a fan, I have listened to at least every single one of his albums once, and that, in my opinion, counts for something. Negativity has always and will always breed envy, and focusing on that, along with rumors, and other asinine bullshit, after the man has passed is ignorant. I chose to focus on the positives, and remember what he came from, to what he became before his passing, a global phenomenon, and icon. He is arguably, the most famous person in my generation, from his #1 hits to albums sold. He paved the way for the majority of artists out right now, and that in and of itself is worthy of my praise. RIP. posted on 06.28.09
